FEBRUARY 2009 Club News CLUB SHOP OPEN NOW! The club shop has now opened but get in fast as it will close again on 18 February Click on the link now and order your cricket gear for the 2009 season. This will be the only chance this season to buy club clothing so don't miss out CLUB SHOP CLICK HERE NEW SEASON APPROACHES FAST! The new season is fast approaching. All players should now be indoor netting and getting ready for the season to come INDOOR NETS Under 11 & Under 13s Monday 6pm to 8pm Priory High School, Penwortham Alternate weeks Under 15 & Under 17s Fridays 8pm till 10pm Lostock Hall High School Seniors Sundays 2pm till 4pm Lostock Hall High School 2009 CAPTAINS Jamie Potter First XI Chris Barnes Second XI Dave Meloy Third XI Andy Cairns Fourth XI The club will also run two Sunday sides this season. An announcement on the names of the captains will be made soon. SAVE THE CLUB NIGHT During the winter months the club struggles to attract numbers into the bar. This has got to a difficult financial situation. The Sports Club has therefore decided to hold a days fundraising at the club. SATURDAY 7 FEBRUARY 2009 Watch live 6 Nations rugby - darts comp - Pool Comp Followed by Disco and Evening entertainment and a buffet Tickets are £10 per person Reduced drinks prices and buffet.
